Just a short drive from 3 Tudor Cottages is the beautiful Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds.
The spectacular theatre is the only surviving Regency playhouse in Britain. It dates back to 1819 and plays host to a vibrant year round programme of drama, family shows, comedy, music, dance, community productions and more.
Especially popular is the annual pantomime, which for 2020 is Cinderella.
If you are planning a stay at the cottages, it’s well worth planning a trip to this wonderful theatre to coincide, but you will need to book tickets well in advance, the productions are extremely popular and often sell out very quickly.
